Evaluation on the Efficiency of LED Energy Enterprises in China by Employing the DEA Model

As an essential part of strategic emerging industry, the light emitting diode (LED) industry plays important role in development a national economy as well being technology that is pivotal to energy saving and environmental protection. Due late start China’s LED there are few related studies, especially on efficiency enterprises. The data envelopment analysis (DEA) method widely used measurement for its significant advantages simplifying calculations processing multiple input–output indicators. This study selected 34 Chinese enterprises, sorted out various input output indicators each enterprise from 2017 2019, calculated technical efficiency, pure scale based CCR BCC models DEA method. result shows that, overall enterprises continued improve this was due enterprises’ emphasis development. However, terms production scale, still big gap between optimal scale. On one hand, studying can measure whether has reached ratio; other it provide references stakeholders such investment entities, regulatory agencies, policy-making departments.
